What's the deal with politics??

Big night in America.......who gets the job of cleaning up this mess? Pretty cool that the turnout has been high, with people waiting over an hour to vote. Who's going to win Ohio? How is McCain going to win the election if his home state is too close to call? Does anyone actually vote for the Socialist or Objectivist parties? Why would anyone be at the Miami (OH)/Buffalo game tonight when they could be watching history?

The interactive map NBC is using at Rockefeller Center is awesome! Grant Park is filling up......looks like I'm going to be up late tonight, which means no running in the morning. As much as I was tempted to write in vote for this guy, I just couldn't do it.

Good luck, America. I have a feeling we'll need it!

Bearcats! Blackout! EA!

Last Thurs I went with some friends to the Cincinnati/South Florida game, which the Bearcats rolled to a 24-10 upset victory. Not only was it a 'blackout', but ESPN's sideline princess and one of my favorite reporters Erin Andrews was covering the game. If you squint you can see her over my left shoulder in the camel skin coat next to the waterjug, looks like she's got an itch?

The night started off at the Holy Grail, where 1530 HOMER talk radio host Mo Egger, Garrett the Intern, and the Pabst Blue Ribbon girls were pregaming. From there we headed to the game and watched Tony Pike throw 2 TD's despite a broken non-throwing forearm. It was a pretty cool atmosphere, something you don't see at bengals games since they suck. I don't consider myself a Bearcat football fan, but after that game I can see why their fanbase is growing exponentially.
